V.R. Vaish, Chairman

V.R. Vaish, Chairman is a Civil Engineer and topper from IIT, Roorkee. He retired as the first Director General of C.P.W.D., one of the highest engineering positions in Government of India. He was the Chairman and Managing Director of NBCC and has been an advisor to several government organizations. He is one of the very few people who have been honoured with the Engineers India Award by the Institution of Engineers, an award given only to people who have achieved great heights in the field of Engineering. He is a Member of the Governing Body of Delhi Public School Society, which runs 140 schools in India and abroad and also the Chairman of more than 10 DPS Schools. He was recently awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Roorkee Alumni in Jan’2009 for his outstanding work in the area of Engineering.
